Three Emerge Winners of the AIB 2nd Annual Public Speaking Championship 2023

3 winners of The AIB 2nd Annual Public Speaking Championship 2023emerged after the grand finals held on Saturday 24th June at the AIB Auditorium.

Ms. Vong Kaneka, from ACLEDA Institute of Business, Ms. Chan Sarah, from ACLEDA Institute of Business, and Ms. Chea Fong Yi, from Abundant Life International School won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively after taking part in the finals along with Six other Participants.

A total of about 200 students from 12 Schools in Phnom Penh entered for the Competition following which 40 were selected for the Semi finals held on 10th June. Nine Students qualified for the Finals, they include Chan Sarah from ACLEDA Institute of Business, Chea Fong Yi from Abundant Life International School, OU SEREYBOTH from Abundant Life International School, PHUM SOPHALDANIN from ACLEDA Institute of Business, Vong Kaneka from ACLEDA Institute of Business, Mean Chankimeng from Sovannaphumi School, Ven Daly from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia ,Ken Sreyleap from Sisowath High School, and KEO NYZA from Sisowath High School.

The Championship was presided over by Dr. Phon Narin, managing director of ACLEDA Institute of Business. In his welcome address, he congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to continue to work hard in their studies noting that "Winning is not the goal but to build one's confidence in the use of English Language".

First Prize is awarded to Ms. Vong Kaneka, from ACLEDA Institute of Business, granted the following prices:

The participants made presentations on topics from Education, Culture, Sports and Health.

• Gold Medal
• 1,000,000 riel cash
• Scholarship to study a Language Course at DFL, AIB

Second Prize is awarded to Ms. Chan Sarah, from ACLEDA Institute of Business, granted the following prices:

• Silver Medal
• 800,000 riel cash
• Scholarship to study a Language Course at DFL, AIB

Third Prize is awarded to Ms. Chea Fong Yi, from Abundant Life International School, granted the following prices:

• Bronze Medal
• 600,000 riel cash
• Scholarship to study a Language Course at DFL, AIB
